Sanjeevni Andewar

I am a legal professional with experience across corporate, commercial, civil, and regulatory law in both Indian and international legal environments. I am currently working alongside my parents, who are both practising lawyers, which has given me the opportunity to be closely involved in a wide range of legal matters and client advisory work across diverse areas of practice.

Previously, I worked as an Associate at YNA Legal, where I advised on matters including contract drafting and review, litigation support, due diligence, compliance, and regulatory procedures. My work involved assisting in dispute resolution, preparing pleadings and legal briefs, liaising with clients and authorities, and supporting commercial and transactional matters.

I have also gained international legal exposure through my experience at Pogust Goodhead in London, where I worked on the Diesel Emissions Claim involving major automobile manufacturers including BMW, Mercedes-Benz, and Jaguar Land Rover. My role involved client onboarding, claim verification, case administration, and coordination in large-scale group litigation matters.

Over the course of my legal training and practice, I have worked on partnership agreements, non-disclosure agreements, compliance under the Legal Metrology Act, 2009, and matters relating to the Drugs and Cosmetics Act. I have also engaged with issues concerning criminal law, constitutional safeguards, workplace harassment law, evidence, and municipal regulations, which has helped me develop a well-rounded understanding of both advisory and contentious legal practice.

I hold an LLM from Queen Mary University of London and an LLB from the University of Mumbai. Alongside my professional work, I have actively participated in mooting, parliamentary forums, and legal volunteering initiatives, reflecting my continued commitment to advocacy, legal research, and professional growth.
