1.What is Indian Attorneys UK?

Indian Attorneys UK is a technology-enabled platform that connects Clients with independent legal professionals in India. We do not provide legal advice or legal services. All legal services are delivered directly by the Network Attorney you choose to engage.

2.Are you a law firm in the UK?

No. Indian Attorneys UK is not a law firm and is not regulated by the Solicitors Regulation Authority. We act solely as an intermediary platform facilitating connections and structured payments between Clients and lawyers.

3.How are lawyers selected?

Lawyers on the platform are independently registered professionals. Our system helps identify relevant legal professionals based on your requirements, but the final decision to engage a lawyer is entirely yours.

4.Do you guarantee the quality of legal services?

No. We do not guarantee outcomes or the quality of legal services. Each Network Attorney operates independently and is solely responsible for the advice and services they provide.

5.How does payment work?

Payments are processed securely through our structured payment system. Funds are handled on a conditional basis and are only released to the lawyer when (a) agreed work milestones are completed, (b) you confirm satisfactory progress, or (c) no issue is raised within the applicable review period.

6.Do I need to pay upfront?

You can choose how to fund your legal matter. Pre-Funded Instruction lets you pay the full estimated amount upfront for a smoother workflow. Milestone-Based Payments let you pay in stages as your matter progresses.

7.Is my money safe?

Payments are processed through secure payment infrastructure. Funds are only released to the lawyer in accordance with agreed conditions, ensuring a structured and controlled payment process.

8.Can I get a refund?

Refunds may be issued where services are not delivered, where there is verified misconduct, or where required by law. Refund decisions are assessed based on the specific circumstances of each case.

9.What happens if I have a dispute with a lawyer?

If an issue arises, you can raise it through the platform. We may temporarily pause payments, request information from both parties, and review the matter to facilitate a fair outcome.

10.Do you hold my money like an escrow service?

No. We do not operate an escrow service or client money account. We use a structured payment facilitation system where funds are processed through regulated payment providers and released only under defined conditions.

11.Can I contact the lawyer directly outside the platform?

No. All communication and payments must remain within the platform. Engaging a lawyer outside the platform after introduction may breach our Terms of Service.

12.Are there any hidden fees?

No. All pricing is transparent. The amount you see at the time of Instruction is the total amount payable.

13.What types of legal matters can you help with?

Our platform connects Clients with lawyers across a range of practice areas in India, including property, family law, civil disputes, business matters, and more.

14.Is my data secure?

We use secure systems for document storage and communication. However, as with any online platform, no system can be completely risk-free.

15.Do I get UK legal protections?

No. As we are not a UK-regulated law firm, you do not receive protections such as compensation schemes or mandatory insurance frameworks.

16.Who is responsible for my legal case?

Your chosen Network Attorney is solely responsible for your legal matter, including advice, strategy, and outcomes.

17.Can I stop working with a lawyer?

Yes. However, payment outcomes will depend on the stage of work completed, the agreed milestones, and any applicable dispute review.

18.How do I get started?

Simply submit your legal requirement through the platform and we will help connect you with suitable lawyers in India.
